Overview

Mó̋ Côrē Ni̋ēkēä was founded durring the early 14th century in fall of the year 1320, by Madog Tristan Eifion. The establishment of Mó̋ Côrē Ni̋ēkēä was plagued by a lack of willing colonists. After attempts to pay people to resettle failed Madog Tristan Eifion struck deals with nearby nations and communities to establish Mó̋ Côrē Ni̋ēkēä as a prison colony.

Mó̋ Côrē Ni̋ēkēä was built using the conventions of Goblin durring the early 14th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Mó̋ Côrē Ni̋ēkēä is no diffrent. The city's buildings feature masoned stone construction which prominantly features pointed arches, pointed ribbed vault cielings, flying buttress', and window tracery all of which share a simmilar gemoetetic patern halfway between organic and inorganic in design formaing a very distinct aesthetically integrated style. BUildings tend to reach for the havens, and more expencive homes are easily identified by their floor count as well as the addition of decorative features intigrated into the building's design such as statues, gargoyals, and embelished joinery.

Mó̋ Côrē Ni̋ēkēä is buildings are grouped arround an odd layout of broad packed earth streets, which seems to be based on an overlapping squair patern such that there are small squares at the cornor of every bigger square. Sometimes buildings exist in the smaller squaires, other times they are open spaces, or occupied by temporary structures. The city has a defencive wall made from querried stone. The wall is equipped with a full set of battlments but the nature of its construction methodology leaves it somewhat vulnerable to siege equipment. That said, the city is well defended against anything short of an army. Mó̋ Côrē Ni̋ēkēä's cost-cutting-focused defences are in an unremarkable state. To some, this is the ideal sate for defences to be in. In need of absoutly nothing, and ready to serve the city as needed.

Looking around Mó̋ Côrē Ni̋ēkēä you immediately realise that the locals are looking back at you. All of them. Everywhere you look somone is staring back at you analytically, looking over every inch of you, your gear, and your companions. As you get close to people, their hands move closer to their belt knife, or dagger. You may want to watch where you go and what you say...

In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the early 2nd century, Mó̋ Côrē Ni̋ēkēä was attacked by members of a peasant revolt. The details of the conflict are hazy at best due to many conflicting accounts. What is known is Mó̋ Côrē Ni̋ēkēä lost 153 people, 149 livestock, and 75 buildings. The conflict ended after roughly 184, when members of Mó̋ Côrē Ni̋ēkēä's militia enacted an operation to destroy or capture a particular enemy prototype. The operation was complicated by enemy spies who revealed the militia's plan. The conflict ended with pitched battle between both forces, which ended in a stalemate for Mó̋ Côrē Ni̋ēkēä's forces. The war is remembered in legend by Mó̋ Côrē Ni̋ēkēä's bards, historians, and legend keepers.
